Call for Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. All contributions will be reviewed before inclusion in the programme.

Particularly welcome are contributions on main topics of the Congress.

We ask the authors to submit the abstracts electronically via the Congress website by using the on-line form.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is May 31, 2010.

An acknowledgement of receipt of your submission will be sent to your e-mail address after the completed submission. If you do not receive confirmation, your submission was incomplete and needs to be re-submitted.

The accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book and will be distributed to all participants upon registration in Congress centre.

Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent electronically to the corresponding author by June 30, 2010.

Instructions for preparation of abstracts

IMPORTANT: The presenting author must pay all applicable fees as soon as possible after notification of acceptance and attend the Congress personally.

Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your abstract.

• Abstract can only be submitted online via Congress website
• Please follow the rest of the instructions about abstract submission and fill in all required fields, otherwise the abstract cannot be considered for evaluation.
• The abstract body should not exceed 300 words (maximum 2500 characters excluding blanks)
• Structural Abstracts will only be accepted and should include: Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions
• Use CAPITAL letters for title.. Maximal title length is 120 characters.
• Name(s) of author(s). Underline the presenting author.
• Author’s affiliation. Do not write institution’s address
• Abstract must be written in English using simple and clear sentences and should not contain figures (pictures, tables, charts etc.).

Please note:

• The organizers will publish only the abstracts submitted by authors, who will settle their registration fee by August 5, 2010
• Each presenting author may present a maximum of two abstracts at the Congress. There is no limit to the number of abstracts that can be submitted by one author.
• It's the author's responsibility to check for grammar errors
• No changes to abstract are possible after submission deadline (May 31, 2010).

Projection Facilities for Oral Sessions

Technical equipment available for oral presentations:

• DATA projectors (DATASCOPE) for computer presentation (resolution up to 1024 x 768 pixels)
• Video on DVD (Region 2)
• Notebook or PC with Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007

Please note:

• Personal notebooks will not be permitted
• Slide and overhead projector will not be available.

Instructions for Poster Preparation

Posters must be brought to the Congress by the presenting author and should not be mailed in advance. The required dimensions are 95 cm (width) by 120 cm (height). At the top of poster, please provide the title of the paper, names of the authors and their affiliations, all in bold lettering of about 2.5 to 3 cm size. Artwork and lettering should be large enough so that the poster is readable from a distance of 1.5 m. Double-sided tape should be used.

Posters will be displayed all the time during the congress. Display boards will be numbered. Posters that have not been removed by 17.00 on September 4, 2010 will not be taken care of by the organizers.
